Resin Driveways & Paths – London

Concrete and tarmac drives, whilst functional, are often not very attractive and can spoil the overall look of your property. A resin bound stone overlay will transform your driveway into an asset to your home, giving real kerb appeal whilst also being safe, anti-slip and free draining.

It gets even better – This fantastic service can be undertaken in just 1 day!

1. The Resin DrivewaysRus team arrive and clean the existing surface – this can be sweeping, jet washing or gas torch burning as necessary.
2. The overall area is checked for defects and then a primer is applied to the area.
3. Specialist dried aggregate is coated with a high strength polyurethane resin in a forced action mixer for a specific time to ensure every piece of aggregate is evenly coated, giving our resin bound stone guaranteed strength and rigidity.
4. The resin bound stone is then troweled, by hand, to a depth of 18mm or above to a seamless, perfect finish that will wow everyone that see it!

Fully guaranteed for 10 years and a driveway to be proud of… All in a single days work for ResinDrivewaysRus!

  • What is the actual cost of an resin driveway installation?

Resin bound driveways and pathways installations vary from one project to another. Location, the area that’s covered and other factors can increase or decrease the costs of a resin driveway or pathway installation.

  • What is the difference between resin bound and resin bonded?

The main difference between a resin bound and resin bonded systems is simply that one is porous, and the other is not.

Bound: The main aggregate is mixed with resin in a mixer and then hand-trowelled into place to produce a surface that is smooth and porous.
Bonded: A layer of resin is screeded onto a surface and then a fine aggregate is scattered over the top and rolled in. This produces a rough surface that is not porous.

Porous resin bound surfaces perform better than non-porous resin bonded ones, allowing drainage of water and better environmental compliance.

  • Where can I install resin bound driveways or paths?

Resin bound driveways or paths can be installed almost anywhere, provided that a suitable base has been installed prior to the installation.

  • Will the resin change colour over time?

No, the resin solutions we use at ResindrivewaysRus are UV-stable and have been manufactured in such a way so that they will not change colour.
